Let’s explore some commonly asked questions about our franchise program
What experience do I need to become a PorchPros franchise owner?
We seek financially qualified individuals or couples who know how to provide excellent customer service and are enthusiastic about the PorchPros brand. Home improvement industry experience is a plus but not a requirement. If you qualify and want to be a part of our network, we want to help you join us.
What is provided as part of the PorchPros franchise program?
Before you open your own PorchPros franchise, you will take time to review our proprietary, confidential operations manual, and then make your way to our PorchPros headquarters. Franchise owners will train for three days, installers and sales personnel for two days. New franchisees will have access to a full library of videos regarding sales and installation processes.
How much will the PorchPros franchise program cost me?
The total initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $70,250 to $135,000 for a single location. This includes a $35,000 initial franchise fee. There is a 20% discount off the franchise fee for qualified U.S. veterans. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.
Is financing available?
We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.
Are there ongoing fees to pay?
We charge a royalty fee equal to 6% of weekly gross sales. Royalties allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of product and supply channels, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
Are there any advertising fees?
Franchisees may be required to spend the greater of at least $5,000 per month or 5% of gross revenue on local marketing. This amount may be increased up to 10% each year of the franchise agreement term. PorchPros franchise owners may also be required to contribute up to 2% of gross sales into the system marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the PorchPros brand. See our FDD for complete details.
What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with three subsequent successor agreement options of five years.
